Fighting data cholesterol? Unchecked data growth is becoming a real problem for today’s CIOs. Thanks to the relatively low price of hardware, many organizations have been addressing this challenge by purchasing more and more storage and CPU. But this is not a viable long-term strategy. Too much data can result in data cholesterol, which has the impact of slowing processes down; it clogs the arteries of the business.
