Estuate achieves compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS)

MILPITAS, CA. – April 08, 2022 : Estuate, Inc., a global IT company headquartered in Milpitas, California with a large offshore development center in Bengaluru, India, today announced that it has successfully achieved the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) compliance. This accreditation underscores the organization’s already stringent security standards for protecting its customers’ credit card data.

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) is the single global standard for cardholder data security established by five international payment card brands (VISA, MasterCard, JCB, AMEX, and Discover). This certification is one of the most prestigious information security accreditations in the payment card ecosystem.

“We are extremely pleased to receive the PCI-DSS certification. It is a great honor to be recognized by the payment card industry’s most rigorous compliance standard. This certification will allow us to handle complex credit card data migration projects for our Zuora customers,” said Prakash Balebail, Founder & CEO of Estuate.

The company is the first-ever global system integrator in the Zuora ecosystem to receive this recognition. Numerous businesses around the world rely on Estuate for the security and governance of their data, including payment and credit card information. The PCI-DSS certification is an added layer of protection to ensure the security of user data.

“We are the first Zuora ecosystem partner to receive the PCI-DSS certification. This is one of the strategic initiatives taken by our Zuora practice team. In the last 9+ years, this group of Zuora-certified consultants has driven 400+ successful Zuora implementations worldwide. I want to extend my sincere thanks to the entire team at Zuora for their continued confidence in us. I also want to thank all of our clients for the goodwill and encouragement they showed. Estuate will continue to reach new heights to provide the most robust support, implementation, and consulting services,” Prakash Balebail added.

The current accreditation is the latest addition to Estuate’s portfolio of compliance standards. In 2019, the company received the ISO 13485:2016 certification (compliance with regulatory requirements in the medical device industry). In 2018, it was certified with ISO 27001:2013 (the most recognized global standard for information security). The organization also has other compliance certifications in place such as the Privacy Shield EU-U.S. and SOC 2 Type 2.
