Estuate Announces ISO 27001:2013 Certification
Protecting information assets from any vulnerability is a critical operational activity, especially for data driven businesses. ISO 27001:2013 is the most updated international standard recognized globally for managing risks to the security of information held by an organization. It specifies a management system that brings information security under control.
“I am very pleased to announce that we have successfully cleared both the phases of the ISO 27001 audit. I am also proud of my team who worked diligently towards the certification and led us to this success”, says Prakash Balebail, Founder and CEO of Estuate.
Getting through an ISO audit could be a daunting process, and therefore being well prepared is a must. Estuate began their internal preparations for the audit well in advance, in April 2018. They revisited their company policies, business procedures and critical documents to meet the standard requirements.
It also included an internal ISMS awareness training to ensure that every employee in the organization is aware of the information security management practices within the organization.
Estuate already had a well-defined documentation procedure and information management framework which helped in getting through the audit process with no non-compliance. “We’re happy to announce that we are now an ISO 27001 certified company. This is a new milestone achievement for us and I thank all the teams for their coordinated efforts and commitment towards the same”, says Harish Krishnamurthy, Managing Director of Estuate India under whose supervision the project was carried out.
