Currently, we are looking for a Senior Manager – IT Infrastructure & Operation to join our team.
Job Description
- Lead and manage a global infrastructure operations team, ensuring 99.99% availability across 80+ enterprise sites.
- Oversee the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of all IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, network, firewalls, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Drive operational excellence, implement best practices (ITIL), and manage vendor and outsourcing relationships.
- Ensure continuous monitoring, incident response, backup and disaster recovery for critical systems.
- Manage infrastructure documentation, change management, and production control frameworks.
- Optimize cloud operations for performance, cost-efficiency, and security compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Security, Application, and Capacity.
- Ensure infrastructure aligns with compliance standards such as SOC 2, NIST, PCI, and RAP.
- Oversee end-user experience platforms and support tools (JAMF, SCCM, Intune, Nexthink, Moveworks).
- Provide dashboards and reports on infrastructure health, automation, and support KPIs.
- Contribute to infrastructure strategy, planning, and execution of IT roadmaps.
- Lead the resolution of major incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and drive preventive measures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation across infrastructure operations.
- Participate in security audits and support remediation and audit readiness.
Skills & Requirements
Technical Expertise
- Operating systems: Windows Server, Linux, RedHat.
- Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs.
- Storage: EMC, NetApp, SAN, NAS.
- Virtualization: VMware, NSX.
- Cloud: Deep experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP (at least one required).
- Monitoring tools: SolarWinds, SCOM, Nagios, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor.
- Automation: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Python, PowerShell.
- End-user and collaboration tools: JAMF, SCCM, Intune, Nexthink, Moveworks, O365, Zoom, Teams.
- Database familiarity: Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, OCI.
- ITSM & Alerting: ServiceNow, integrated alerting tools.
Leadership & Experience
- 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with at least 5 years in global/offshore team leadership roles.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage high-performing technical teams.
- Strong experience in 24/7 infrastructure operations and managing large-scale co-location/vendor relationships.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and conducting RCA.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders across business and IT functions.
- Ability to support scheduled and unscheduled changes, incident response, and service restorations.
Compliance & Governance
- Strong understanding of ITIL v3 or later.
- Working knowledge of change/production control frameworks.
- Experience supporting SOX, PCI, and security audit requirements.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Strong project and resource management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, project delivery, and software operations.
- Experience working in global organizations with distributed teams.
- Cultural awareness and ability to work across multiple time zones.
Preferred Certifications
- ITIL, AWS/Azure/GCP, Agile, or DevOps certifications.
